About Us
This blog is about and for our friend Meghan, a 23 year old girl with a life threatening brain illness, Anaplastic Medulloblastoma. It is a place to share news, words of encouragement, and provide support (emotionally, spiritually and financially) for Meghan, her mom Sue, her sister Shannon and the rest of her family and friends. Meghan is fighting the fight and needs our help. She has no medical insurance and needs costly treatment in order to be a survivor of the illness she is striving to overcome. Friends of Meghan was formed by a group of concerned parents in Nutley, New Jersey, formed to co-ordinate and facilitate a variety of fundraisers. The funds will be used to cover medical and personal expenses incurred as a result of her illness. While Friends of Meghan is a not for profit organization, funds donated are not tax deducatble.

An Encouraging Note From Meghan's Friend Jean Rohe
Dear Meghan,
It's been quite a while since I've seen you or spoken to you but I'm
writing from Brooklyn, NY where I now live to send you my love and
strength. I read in a letter from the Suchockis that you've been sick
and I want to offer you lots of courage and hope. It seems like there
are a lot of really loving people who are sending their healing energy
and financial support your way and I hope that through all the fear or
whatever other emotions you're experiencing these days, you can take
some comfort in knowing that we are all on your side and hoping for
your speedy recovery. Please take good care of yourself and hang in
there--have faith. You are tough, Meghan!
I'm sending my love, too, to Shannon and your mom and the rest of the
people who are close to you now. I will be holding you all in the
light for as long as it takes!
With love and blessings,
Jean Rohe
